Exército inicia operação para retomar Ramadi

INT - Província de Anbar, capital de Ramadi, no Iraque. A member of the Iraqi security forces stands in the rubble of destroyed buildings in the rural Husayba al-Sharkiya area, east of Anbar province's capital Ramadi, as they undertake military operations to attack Islamic State (IS) group positions on December 20, 2015. IS took full control of Ramadi in mid-May, in what was Baghdad's most stinging defeat since it launched a counter-offensive to regain the large regions the jihadists captured in the summer of 2014, but Iraq's defence minister predicted on December 19 that security forces backed by US-led coalition air strikes would retake full control of the city of the province's capital by the end of the year.
